About Me

My photo
I married my high school sweetie June 27, 2009! He is the love of my life and my best friend. We have been together since Feb. 2002 so over 10 years now! He has given me everything I could ever dream about. On October 17, 2010 we welcomed our first baby: Emma Faye! She is the best thing to ever happen to us! She lights up our lives more than she could ever know. Then we added a new addition to our family June 2012: JUNO our dog! She showed up on our doorstep and has been a perfect match for our family!

Halloween is in the Air....

This past weekend I drove to VA to spend the weekend with my honey :) I was needing a mini-vacation before next week, and all of my hectic schedule! So I took a half-day at work on Thursday and all of Friday off. It was just what I needed! We hung out with each other, watched a lot movies, went walking and carved our first pumpkin!!! It was so much fun. Below are pictures of the progress of the pumpkin carving! Neither one of us have carved a pumpkin without parental control, soo its been awhile haha! Eric found an excuse to use his jack-knife tool thing, which actually made the process a lot easier! We had a lot of fun creating a design for the pumpkin and then actually creating the pumpkin! We know its a little early to carve a pumpkin, since they do not last but a few days after you have carved them, but he won't be home for Halloween.

I am not looking forward to my busy schedule this week! School is going to be the death of me just this week! I have roughly 15 accounting problems and a midterm due this week. There are a few things I am looking forward to though. I am photographing someones engagement photos on Wednesday and their Wedding on Saturday. I'm also working back at Sandi's part time to just help fill in, and this weekend I'm working both Saturday and Sunday. I'm just a little busy this coming week haha. So this past weekend was definitely needed.

I hope everyone enjoys our pumpkin :)

We had to go to the Post Office on Saturday morning so instead of driving we decided to just walk there, because it wasn't that far and it was such a beautiful day. We also went around town to a few of the Antique Shops and low and behold we found ELVIS! Eric was NOT impressed to have his picture taken with him hahaha!!

I was thinkin the same thing! We have a tiny pumpkin for our apartment...not carved. Just wanted to be a little festive. I can't wait till I have a larger place to actually decorate cause as you know this is the best time of year and Halloween is my fav. holiday! By the way good luck with your photog. session this weekend! I think you should start a photography blog but keep this one too! :-)
